I'd make sure that my shows had positive customer reviews in iTunes.
I'd make sure that the Descriptions of my shows in iTunes were easy to read (it's a selling document, right?) instead of what appears in the G'Day World descriptions which I assume is some sort of automatic scripting transfer. I mean, I'd start with 15 words with a hook to the listener, instead of technical guff.
I'd develop a relationship (maybe financial) with people who sell iPods & mp3players, and find a way to get my shows used in demos when they show people how to load podcasts on the player.
I'd get myself interviewed by Phillip Adams on Radio National who has his show downloaded 300,000 times per week. Those listeners (or podders as he calls them) would be a good market to crack, and very lucrative for any advertiser (affluent older types).
...and...some other stuff....

I wrote my thoughts on my blog Cam. If you have time have a read, it's long though. Good luck whatever you do.

I'd place it in the Genesis Engine, and make all the conversations visible to each other over any medium, browser, mobile WAP, mobile 3g.
So lets do it.
