come now Mizza, as I sit here in a st kilda cafe on a saturday morning, drinking my latte, i can think of a reason you should be blogging beyond "guilt"...
you need to be sharing your knowledge/experiences/thoughts with the world. keeping your ideas and thoughts to yourself is the ultimate selfish act. the human brain is one of the pinnacles of "achievement" of evolution. people who do not blog are depriving the world of their knowledge. perhaps inside your head will emerge the single most brilliant idea in the 6 billion year history of our planet. perhaps you will be the vehicle that evolution has been building towards all this time. but what if that idea comes and goes and you don't share it? you may be the receptacle in which the idea emerges, but perhaps the execution of that idea lies with another. it's your job to give the idea life. blog it. podcast it. put it out there.
Thanks Cam - Although I think you may be overestimating my capacity to contribute to the universe. My greatest talent appears to be hurting myself in amusing ways and so I think I will just continue blogging for the fun of it without any airs that I might produce something of use to the universe - other than a village idiot.
Incidently I havent been called Mizza since the 'cool kids' at my school decided that 'Mim' wasnt nearly a good enough nickname for me and invented a new one.

and you may be underestimating your capacity. let's remember that you, each of us, is the result of 6 billion years of evolution. But even if your thoughts do not produce the single greatest idea in history, they may still produce an idea that saves someone's life. or even just their day. and then perhaps THEY will go on to save the universe. you never know. so blog. podcast. have the guys to speak openly and honestly and put it out there. as fatehr bob says "there isn't a moment to lose!".
I think your nick should be MZA. It's got more of a gangsta feel to it.

yeah, I'm about as gangsta as a teletubby... Besides I already have way too many nicknames.
If it will make you stop going on about this whole indirectly saving the universe through my blog rubbish then I'll concede that perhaps through my blog I may serve as a warning to others :-)

random comment, nothing at all to do with blogging... but after my sister convinced me to listen to ur podcast i thought it best to speak in her defense... she is either a girl or a very convincing cross dresser - take your pick

well I still have to have a shower with a stiff wire brush to cleanse myself if I happen to accidentally catch a few minutes of Priscilla Queen of the Desert on TV, so I'll take "girl" anyday. What about you, Naomi? What's wrong with Melbourne that you have to go to uni in Sydney? And what's your problem with blogs?

Nay's still at school - yr 11. And our family are all in Sydney which is why she's there. Still trying to convince her to move to Melbourne for uni though so there's hope yet.
At a guess I'd say her problem with blogs is that she's contrary so she enjoys doing ironic things like posting on her own blog that anyone with a blog is lame.
