The eye surgery seems to have gone well. For the record, they were tightening up the muscles behind my right eye to "turn back the clock" on a case of strabismus I have developed over the years as a result of nerve damage from the blow to the head I took when I was 12. Strabismus or "lazy eye" means you lose complete control of the muscles of your eye and it drifts, this in turn leads to double visions, etc. Anyway, as I came out of the anaestheic I heard someone say "no major problems". I was too groggy to ask "what were the MINOR problems????". Anyway. Here I am. Sitting in a hospital bed, running business as usual. Nothing can stop the Cam.
Scooter Libby says President Bush approved his leaking of information about Valeria Plame to the press. Top Senate Democrat Harry Reid called the claim "shocking" - but it's actually the opposite, right? We all knew this was coming. Bush is untouchable and a convenient fall guy. He isn't getting another term, he's done what he set out to do when he bought the top job (took control of the Middle East), he doesn't care. Now Libby can use the "hey I was just following orders" defense that we all know and love so much. And you can bet nobody in the White House press corp will ask Bush how he managed to stand up and say that the White House had nothing to do with the leak because Helen Thomas has had her one question this year....
And so Apple has demonstrated Windows XP running on a Mac. How long now before Microsoft acquires Apple? I give the announcement 6 months. Then Steve can go focus 100% on running Disney and Scoble will eventually get his Apple Tablet PC.
Three different font sizes in one post for no apparant reason? You sure they fixed your eye? LOL... welcome back :)
