I talk. A lot. A few people listen. Then they talk. A few people listen to them. Lots of us are talking. And listening. TO EACH OTHER.
I am your worst nightmare. You know who you are.
Do you want us to answer that?

LOL, are you talking about Ray Martin!? Or Naomi Robson? Make sure you're not using Indian Call Centres either Cam ;) According to both the above, ICC's are the devil!

You use Google News, mate what happened to the blogosphere? If it is not on a blog it does not exist ;-)
BTW, I have heard that Rupert and Kerry are creating a 12 step program for people like us as we are evil and do not conform to their business model or mind control practices.
Oh and I might see you at Long Tail Camp!

Welcome me to the Real world Cam... I am almost the same except.. I still have a fundamental belief that what they do "can" be good..... it's just the translation that happens along the way down to the troops and the internal powerpaths that are stuffed... and no one cares about it!... ;).... Think I' will go listen to my Ipod, read my news feeds via Sharp Reader and enjoy life & not worry....
Cheers

You're grocery shopping on eBay, mate? A home loan with PayPal? Methinks you are over-egging the pudding a little, but I understand where you're going ;)

Rob, Rob, you didn't listen. I said they are my PREFERRED providers. I LIKE doing business with them. If I could do more with them, I would. THAT'S the point.

No, I was listening all right :) My point being that until you CAN do more with those folks, are you really a nightmare for 'the man' or do they know that they still have you by the short'n'curlies in all these areas, still?

I wasn't referring to "the man" actually. I was referring to "the guys who don't get it". In particular, the businesses that have had either a monopoly or a oligopoly on those services for the last 50 - 100 years in this country. And they are losing them to global players who are faster and smarter.
Oh and I don't think of Meg Whitman as "the man" btw. :-)
