Well my words are in one of Mark's articles in today's AFR (page 24, not the lead on page 1), but not my name! No attribution. That wouldn't happen in the blogging world.
For the record, the bit where Mark talks about Zimbra (mis-spelled in the article as "Zibra")and Ning was from our conversation.
That's a great outcome if you're in PR! I like mark's other piece - a summary of blog commentary. The blogs lead and big M tails behind.

Gah, what a disappointment. :(

One of the great excuses in print journalism is "the subeditors cut out the quotes." But that's actually what happened here Cam, and I feel really bad mate. I had about three grafs from our conversation in the lead story, and they were evidently edited out after I went home (after 8pm I might add). If I'd have known it was likely to have got chopped I wouldn't have given you the heads up.
What can I say? I'll have to make it up to you and buy you a beer instead.

No worries Mark. I figured that to be the case. I knew you wouldn't deliverately leave it out and wouldn't have let me know if you'd known it was going to be cut.
Anyway, always happy to help and chat.
As for using bloggers, even US bloggers, again I think it's a great initiative and I applaud you sir. A shame you couldn't fine more Aussie bloggers to quote, but if they arent writing about it, then again I guess that's not your fault.
And yes, it's good blog "fodder". :-)
