Sydney, Australia 14 October 2005 Motorola Mobile Devices, a global leader in wireless communications, today announced that it has entered into a three-month strategic marketing partnership with The Podcast Network (TPN), the worlds first commercial podcast network.
Get the details here.
Months of work have gone into this. Well done Mick!
The bottom line is that Motorola have taken out a three month sponsorship of ALL of the shows on TPN to promote their new ROKR phone (aka the iTunes phone). We're pretty excited about working with them as a partner.
Congrats guys! Well deserved! Things are really starting to come together (not that haven't been already). I am sure that this will help kick it up a notch!
Molly
PS. No chance of a promotional phone for your most loyal listener? ;)

As a TPN broadcaster, I can't tell you how excited I am about this. I just went to my site and saw the Motorola ads flickering across the screen. OK, maybe they're a LITTLE busy, but they signify a great step for the Network, and for podcasting in general. I applaud you and Mick for proving that podcasting can be a viable advertising vehicle for a company of Motorola's stature. Well done, boys!
