OK, now I'm really screwed. When trying to install Windows XP after the re-boot (see earlier post), I'm getting this message (see photo):
Now I've only got two hard drives in the PC. One should have ALL my data on it and should be about 200G. The other should have nothing on it but the old Windows directory and should be about 180G. I figured this last one was the one showing up as the partition called "C:" so I deleted the existing partition and tried to install Windows there. Then I get this next screen:
So am I right in thinking this partition it wants me to delete is my secondary hard drive and contains ALL of my data?? Or am I totally missing something here??
Any guidance mucho appreciated.
To play it safe, I'd cancel and remove the drive you know has your data. I'd take the time to install the data drive on another machine - this should take ten minutes if the other system recognises the drive.
Good luck.

+1. I was about to say what Serdar said. Given all your data's on it, I'd be making sure it was physically somewhere else before letting anything get re-formatted.
