I got an email today from the team running webdirections, a web development conference focussing on web standards, accessibility, web apps and web2.0 (whoops better call that web blah blah blah in case the O'Reilly team are reading this) being run in Sydney in September. Looks like Ben Barren is one of the speakers. If you've never seen BB irl, then that alone is worth the price of admission ($750), especially if his accompanying slide show resembles his flickr account.




Looks great, but with the Portable media Expo being 29th and 30th in Caliornia I'll have to take a rain check.

LOL. I for one will be avoiding "controversey" by personally checking Ben's slides right up till the moment he goes on stage :-)
