Jim pinged me this evening that a good friend of ours had one of the worst things imaginable happen to her ... someone got into both her GMail accounts and Blogger accounts ... and taken over ... and has hijacked her blog.
So ... we need some help. GMail people and Blogger people ... what can we do? How can she get this stuff back? She has the standard ... "e-mail me at ... " to get it back. No dice that she's going to do that.
So ... help? Ping me please!

Thank you very much for linking to this.

Cam, Doc Searls has had a discussion about someone trying to reclaim their Yahoo Account. Here: http://doc.weblogs.com/2006/02/14#aShoutToYahoo
Seems like if you telephone Yahoo (in Sunnyvale, Ca.) and can prove you "own" the account, they'll put you back in. Maybe Google will do the same.
The "GMail Program Policies" request that GMail be advised if someone is using an account without authorization. Maybe they'll play ball with the rightful user.
