Bastards Who Make Power Plugs

Add to my list of pet peeves the bastards who make power plugs that take up more than their fair share of the room on a powerboard. You know the ones - the big fat black plugs which make sure you can't fit another plug beside them. Sometimes they stick out to the left or the right, sometimes they are just oversized to you can't fit another plug on EITHER side of them.

The specific plug that's annoying me today is the GAMEBOY plug.

Bastards.

I know what you mean dude. Thought I heard that someone was making a powerboard with wider slots to accommodate the bigger plugs, but a search on google didn't show up anything.

PS. Like the new design but wheres the photo?

Ask and you shall receive - check out these : http://www.360electrical.com/index-1.html

Someone needs to make a powersquid available in AU... http://www.thinkgeek.com/gadgets/electronic/77e6/

Or you can kinda make your own by going out and buying a buncha short extension cables. I run all my bulky powerpacks off 15cm extension cables so theyre not taking up room on the powerboard.

I have a lot of power plugs like that and what I usually do is use a double adaptor in one of the power outlets. Even if you don't use the other side it still gives you enough room to plug in a "brick" when you need to.
