Will see if I can come. Have volleyball Wednesdays nights but drop in on the way or the way back. It doesn't seem like this will be far from my place.

Not sure about the dates you've got listed, but if that's Sunday the 19th, it sounds good. Wednesdays are not the best for me either.

Tejas Patel

Yes, 19th is better for me.

Daniel

Yup, the 15th and 19th can't both be Wednesdays... (which aren't good for me either actually, WTF even thought of suggesting it!)

Cameron Reilly

sorry sorry sorry

that was spozed to read 15th or the 29th. Wednesdays both.

Phillip Molly Malone

Whoops, Missed that it was Preston, for some dumb reason thought it was Prahan (which is around the corner). Preston is the other side of town. So Wednesday is, as Rex Hunt would say, Shizen Houzen.

Not whinging, just letting you know so you don't say "you weak, so and so's, didn't turn up".

Raduza

Thanks Cam. I'd probably say the 29th in that case

Tejas Patel

Yep, Book me in for 29th as well.

Cameron, just a suggestion here seeing that I don't know what's on the agenda. If we are planning to order pizza and if you are expecting around 12-15 people, than why not meet in the city Pizza Hut (at the corner of Elizabeth and Bourke I think). We can book in advance and there is enough place there to shit and chat. It's a great venue and it will be help to people who live on other sides of Preston. Also it will be relatively easy to get to the city from most parts of Melbourne using public transportation. Coming to Preston for some might be too much of public transportation for some and too much of driving for some!

No disrespect meant Phil, just trying to find a solution that might be best for all.

Cameron Reilly

good thinking Tejas! I'm a little wary of making a booking and then not having people turn up! In future I might set up a paypal account so that everyone can pay in advance!

Tejas Patel

:). It's just Pizza Hut.. I don't think they will mind if 2-5 people don't turn up. We can reserve sits for people upto certain time. As for paypal, that's just increasing your burden and would be much more messy for you as the group gets bigger. Also I think people might think it's too much as to commit for a blogger meeting 20-30 days in advance and have to pay for it in advance too. If managed properly, in 2-3 such meetings the number will grow exponentially. Let's get the ball rolling :).
