Wednesday
Wednesday. Hmmm. What a day it's been so far.
- That photo above is from Doc Searls' site! HOLY FRICKIN DONKEYS! This has to be our new front page! Doc says:
- Here's a gallery of shots of the radio in the dashboard in my rental 2005 Ford Focus. They're of podcasts that I copied to a CD and shoved into the CD slot, which says "mp3" underneath. The player can't navigate (ff/rw) inside a file, but skips between files with the "seek" buttons. But it remembers where I'm listening in the file when I turn it off or switch to AM or FM. Thought it would be interesting to show how G'Day World, Evil Genius Chronicles, Daily Source Code, Trade Secrets, IT Conversations and other podcast show titles look on the radio's static read-out.

- Thanks Doc! You rock! And I actually found this on JD's site, so THANKS JD!
- Business Week contacted Mick & I this morning about a possible interview. Nice.
- Raduza Mantego said nice things about the G'Day World show ("This one is easily my favourite. Cam and Mick
put together an hourish podcast every now and then and it is brilliant
to hear the Australian accent get a thorough workout. The
self-depreciating jibes and picking at each other is true Australian
conversation and their 'On The Pod' interviews continue to amaze me.
Most of the guests are out of my sphere, but they are genuinely
interesting and the guys know how to work an interview.") on his site and Doppler have linked to him from their front page. Nice. Thanks Rad!
- As of writing this, there is 2 days, 8 hours 5 minutes 2 seconds left to go on the G'Day Auction, and that crazy Clarke Scott is in the lead with a bid of AU $202.50! At least we'd be keeping it in the country! But I have to ask... Clarke? Did you check this with AJ? :-)
- Just on the auction for a moment, after the article in CBS
Marketwatch (also picked up by Investor Business Daily) this morning,
I've had a few emails from around the world from people offering to
help us get the word out around it! Not much time left but nice of them
to offer!
- Buzz just skyped me from a geek dinner he's at in Redmond with
Scoble et al! Couldn't hear him over the noise but sounded like they
were having fun!

"Who needs satellite radio when they have gdayworld?"
"As seen on Doc Searls radio!"
Of course we know your voice, but how will they recognize you at demo? Will you be wearing a kagooroo costume? *g*

No problem, gents. Of course, now someone will have to start a podcast with the name Holy Frickin Donkeys!

Cam,
AJ who?
Only joking....I have spoken with him but, the conversation went more like..."Have you seen the G'Day world auction? I have the highest bid. Well so far anyway!"
