The first VC Show is recorded!
A mate of mine, Matthew Dunstan, gave me a great idea a couple of weeks ago - we were talking about venture capital and how to raise it, and he suggested I start getting VC's on the show ... so... taadaa!
Tonight I recorded the first show for a new series I am calling... wait for it... wait for it... "The VC Show". Each week I'll be trying to grab a venture capitalist, angel investor, or the like, and interview them on the hows and whys of raising private funding.
My guest tonight was Dr Sandy McKinnon from Pentech Ventures in Scotland. We had a great chat about how Pentech approach investing in software companies, some of their successes, like Sonaptic, and a simple guide for what you, as an entrepreneur, should do before you approach an early stage investor such as Pentech. It was a great chat and I'd like to thank Sandy for being bold enough to jump in first! The show should be up in a few days, weather permitting.

Can't wait to listen to it! Lemme know if you need an intro to an Aussie VC for your next show.
