I was skyping tonight with Richard Giles from the Gadget Lounge blog and he mentioned the fact that the Engadget guys, Phillip Torrone and Lenn Pryor, haven't done a 'cast since December. Anyone know what's going on? The Phil & Lenn show was the main reason I got into podcasting in the first place. I *dream* of being as entertaining and informative as those guys. Lenn seemed to disappear from the show a while ago and now Phil is MIA. No mention on their site (that I can see anyways) about the show being on hiatus...

I've read somewhere that the new boss at engadget found podcasting kind of a waste of time.
And yes, it would be a pitty because Oct. 15 was the day I entered the world of podcasting, thanks to their podcast.

Amazing how rumors spread. How about just emailing me and ASKING rather than spreading false information?
1. The podcast will be back soon. We've just been busy lately.
2. There isn't a "new boss" at Engadget. It's just me, and always has been, and for the record, I'm a big fan of podcasting.

hey Peter, good to know, and thanks for the update. You're right, I could have emailed you and asked, I'm sorry. But you guys could also have kept your doting audience up-to-date and not forced us to ask the question in the first place. You can't go from a weekly show to 4 weeks' silence and not expect people to wonder. Give my regards to Phil & Lenn and tell them their audience misses them.

Yes, this is how rumors spread. While I find it good to read this here, a post "the rumors of my death ..." on engadget itself might stop such spreading. :)
