Mick and I are moving our server to a better home which means:
1. for the next 24 hours our homepage is offline
2. when we come back online, you'll need to delete our old RSS/XML feed for the podcast and add the new feed to your podcast aggregator.
Apologies for the change but we figured it was better to do it now than later.
Mick tells me we've already had a couple of hundred people download the show, so thanks for your support folks! I hope you found the first show worth your time. As soon as we get our Skype recording set-up working properly, we intend to interview many of the smartest people we know in Australia, to find out what they think is cool, so I hope you'll stick with us.
As for the Skype recording issue, I've been having an email thread over the last couple of days with Bill Dettering from Applian, the vendor who makes Replay Telecorder, and he's trying to help me get rid of the echo, which he puts down to a problem with my laptop soundcard(the Realtek AC97). We tried updating the driver today but it didn't make a difference.
